Family Photo Session
at Sunset in Gig Harbor, WA

This family portrait session was captured at Sunset. The family coordinated their outfits with shades of navy and white, using a cool color palette. The park in Gig Harbor was unique because we got to photograph first in the forest on the trail down to the water and then by the water where the sun was turning the sky a nice shade of orange.
Photos on the Trail
The park had an abundance of Cedar, Fir and Maple trees, making for beautiful, woodsy portraits and logs to climb on. This allowed for natural posing with my on-location studio lighting.
By the water in the South Puget Sound
Being from California, I seek sunsets and usually time my photographs to catch the sunset as part of the family sessions. These images we got lucky with hues of gold and orange in the sky, making for dynamic family portraits. The family sat on a log next to the water.
